Jenn and Phil kindly asked me to design Save-the-Date magnets for their upcoming winter wedding. I was thrilled for the opportunity to have some fun with a wintry theme. We incorporated their wedding colors and snowflakes into a modern and romantic design. I love the outcome! Of course, I'm biased.

The couple is planning to hand out the magnets at their engagement party -- it makes for a great party favor and money is saved by not mailing them out to guests!

It's OK to Ask for Directions...

Bride-to-be Kate contacted me for a last minute request for her wedding next week. Directions cards were needed for guests to find their way to the Preistly-Savidge House --a new wedding venue in the Susquehanna Valley.

We came up with this simple but elegant design incorporating Kate's damask pattern. A little hibiscus flower was added as a fun detail by the bride; they're serving edible ones in the champagne at the reception. What a great idea!

A Piece of Cake!

What I enjoy most about being a graphic designer is that I can personalize items and add that special touch that cannot be purchased online or in a store. Marianne's thank you cards are a recent example of this.

At her bridal shower, Marianne was presented with a "gift" cake designed by one of her bridesmaids! How awesome is that? The bride-to-be loved the cake and wanted to incorporate the photo into her thank you cards. So, we changed her name on the "gift tag" to read "Thank You." Then, to finish the front design, I mimicked the polka dot pattern from the cake as a border.

On the back, "Marianne's Bridal Shower" and date were printed. And because the card had such a fun and flirty feel to it, I had to add a little diamond ring graphic to complete the look.
