Fall Inspired
On Sunday, I visited the Lehigh Valley Parkway and fish hatchery in Allentown, Pa. It's a fun little trip to watch trout go crazy over food pellets and a great spot for a scenic run. While I was there I snapped the photo below that, to me, sums up the beauty of fall. Along with my post, I thought I'd include an invitation design inspired by nature!

Kara & Matthew's Save-the-Date Magnets
Kara, an old classmate of mine from as far back as elementary school, got in touch with me recently to design Save-the-Date magnets for her and her fiance Matthew. The couple chose hot pink and black as their wedding colors which are perfect for a modern yet traditional look. For ease of mailing, the magnets were attached to larger cards.

Fat and Happy
A few weeks ago the Susquehanna Valley Country Club in Selinsgrove, Pa. hosted its annual Bridal Show Extravaganza. It's always fun to see the new and familiar faces of girls freshly engaged-- their eyes sparkling almost as much as their diamond rings. Aside from promoting Danielle and myself, I like to mosey around and check out other vendors (especially those with food)!
One of those lucky vendors happened to be Sue and Jenny of Fat and Happy Confections in Danville, Pa. Their cakes were stunning and delicious! I sampled a lemon sour pound cake with raspberry filling. Check out their website to view their cake gallery and yummy flavors!

Favor Cards
As promised, here are the favor cards designed for Heaven and Matthew. In lieu of a favors, the couple decided to donate to two charities that were meaningful to them: The Brandon M. Badman Scholarship Fund and the American Cancer Society. Great idea!

Heaven and Matthew's Table Menus
Tying together elements throughout your wedding day can be simple. The best way to achieve cohesiveness is to repeat colors, details and type faces. Heaven and Matthew have been kind enough to allow me to help them with this. Aside from the invitations, the couple asked me to design menu cards, favor cards (which I'll post soon) and in the works is a seating chart.
