Tiffany's friends planned a surprise safari-themed baby shower to match the nursery the new mom-to-be was planning. I designed the invitations as well as a insert with a perforated tag that is to be used in place of gift wrap (a great "green" idea to save on paper waste)!

Brittany & Brian's Zebra Print Wedding Invitations

Not too long ago I posted Brittany and Brian's Save the Date magnets. Recently, I finished their zebra and hot pink wedding invitations and couldn't wait to share them!  I, with the help of my amazing husband, spent a whole weekend assembling 300 of these lovelies. It was a lot of work but the end result was perfect!  One special touch that Brittany included in the invitations  (not shown) was the inclusion of tissue paper.  Traditionally tissue paper was inserted to prevent ink from smudging. Although it's no longer needed because modern printing methods, it does add a special something to the finished look.

Laurie & Daniel's Calla Lily Wedding Invitiations

Calla lilies are one of my favorite flowers. They are simple and stunning at the same time. When Laurie told me calla lilies were her favorite flower as well, I knew I wanted to incorporate them into the design! The overall look of the invitation is traditional but the clean lines of calla lilies really gives it a modern touch. Laurie and Daniel's suggestion of adding a "D" watermark behind the invitation text finished the look!

Cristina & Christopher's Watercolor Invitations

Whenever a new bride contacts me to design wedding invitations, I always look forward to reading about what they're planning for their big day! The challenge to bring their unique ideas to paper is what I love most about what I do.  A significant invitation design feat for me this year was creating a watercolor-inspired look with a rustic/earthy feel for Cristina.  The design was created in Photoshop with special watercolor paint brushes. It took a careful eye to create the right balance but the effort paid off with this beautiful design! Another added touch, that you'll have to look closely to find, are the hops -- a nod to Cristina's fiance, Christopher, who is a brewer!
