Alisha's Bridal Shower Invitations

Mackenzie, one of my past brides, is throwing a fabulous bridal shower for one of my current brides, Alisha and asked if I would create invitations for the event!  The inspiration came from these awesome pom-poms from etsy in peacock colors (the bride's wedding theme). Fun and modern!

Bridal Shower Invitations

Two brides were showered over the weekend by friends and family and I had the pleasure of designing invitations for their events. Heaven, a previous bride of mine asked for a Moroccan-inspired design for her friend Brittany's event and Christy, Beth's sister, asked for an invitation design that coordinated with Beth's wedding invitations.

Mackenzie's Bridal Shower Invitations

Mackenzie and Michael have entrusted me to design all of their wedding details. What an honor! I was delighted even more when Mackenzie referred me to Alisha, one of her bridesmaids, to create her bridal shower invitations. We included the couple's wedding colors into a whimsical bridal gown design. Absolutely love it! I can't wait to share their wedding invitations!

Hot Pink and Leopard Bridal Shower Invites

Autumn, another lovely friend of mine, was looking for some invites for a bridal shower she was hosting for Ashley. She described the bride-to-be as "girlie and LOVES pink." Autumn suggested throwing some leopard print in the mix for fun. I was excited when they came back from the printer; I love the vibrant colors!

Fat and Happy

A few weeks ago the Susquehanna Valley Country Club in Selinsgrove, Pa. hosted its annual Bridal Show Extravaganza. It's always fun to see the new and familiar faces of girls freshly engaged-- their eyes sparkling almost as much as their diamond rings. Aside from promoting Danielle and myself, I like to mosey around and check out other vendors (especially those with food)!

One of those lucky vendors happened to be Sue and Jenny of Fat and Happy Confections in Danville, Pa. Their cakes were stunning and delicious! I sampled a lemon sour pound cake with raspberry filling. Check out their website to view their cake gallery and yummy flavors!

A Piece of Cake!

What I enjoy most about being a graphic designer is that I can personalize items and add that special touch that cannot be purchased online or in a store. Marianne's thank you cards are a recent example of this.

At her bridal shower, Marianne was presented with a "gift" cake designed by one of her bridesmaids! How awesome is that? The bride-to-be loved the cake and wanted to incorporate the photo into her thank you cards. So, we changed her name on the "gift tag" to read "Thank You." Then, to finish the front design, I mimicked the polka dot pattern from the cake as a border.

On the back, "Marianne's Bridal Shower" and date were printed. And because the card had such a fun and flirty feel to it, I had to add a little diamond ring graphic to complete the look.

Voila!
