Photo Thank You Cards
I'm fortunate to have the opportunity to work such wonderful couples!
It's fun to share in the excitement of their wedding planning throughout
the year. Thank you cards usually mark the end of my work with my
brides (boo), but I do enjoy getting to create a card that will hold
special sentiments to each guest at their wedding. It's also my first peek at their wedding photos and they are always beaming with love! Who doesn't love love?
Fall Wedding Invitations
I have lot of catching up to do on the blog! Even though this year's
wedding season is winding down, I'm already brainstorming and designing
for my 2013 brides. Here are a couple of Autumn wedding invitations I
designed recently for Georgette & Michael and Jennifer &
Steven. I also designed matching wine labels, reception signs, table
numbers and thank you cards for Jennifer & Steven.
Alex & Jenna's Fall Wedding Invitations
Last autumn, I was fortunate to be part of a brilliant fall wedding photo shoot headed by the creative duo of Live View Studios. The shoot was so beautiful that it was featured on a popular Southern California wedding blog, Green Wedding Shoes! Jenna saw the blog post and fell in love with the invitation suite and wanted the design customized to her wedding. It was fun to be able to recreate these invites for a real wedding! A few weekends ago, I enlisted the help of the most awesome invitation assembler ever, my husband Jason, to complete the invites. And here they are!

Amanda & Kyle's Wedding Invitations
Amanda and Kyle's wedding day is fast approaching and I've been finalizing
their wedding day details but for now I'm happy to share their wedding
invitations! We continued the use of their monogram and flourish design
from their save-the-dates. I love the contrast between the invitation and the enclosure cards.

Jessica and Andrew's Baseball Ticket Invitations
Jessica and Andrew love the Boston Red Sox so much that they are incorporating a baseball-theme into their wedding plans! They loved the baseball ticket invitations I did for Annemarie and Jim and wanted a similar design!

ShaTerra & Jabbar's Vintage Wedding Invitations
ShaTerra and Jabbar are planning a Vintage/Old Hollywood wedding celebration in cornflower blue and black. I was asked by the lovely ShaTerra to create invitations to match their theme. It's a fairy simple design but the art deco and script fonts evoke the feel of the event. Goes to show the effectiveness of typefaces!
Be sure to check out ShaTerra on Facebook. She's an extremely talented Makeup Artist!

Nicole & Aly's Multi-Cultural Invitations
In celebration of the London Olympics, it's only fitting that I share Nicole and Aly's wedding invitations. Not only do the couple live in the current Olympic city but their relationship represents a union of cultures: Nicole is American and Aly is English-Indian. The couple, celebrating their wedding at the gorgeous Plaza Hotel in New York City, will incorporate both eastern and western traditions. To reflect this in the invitation design, we created a formal look with a golden damask border and custom monogram with two elephants holding up a red heart. In the Indian culture, elephants with trunks facing upward represents good luck. Also, it's hard to see in the photo but, the invitations were printed on an ivory pearlized cardstock which shimmers beautifully in the light!

Maricar and Izaak's School-Themed Wedding Invitations
How many people can say they met their "true love" in Kindergarten?
Maricar and Izaak first encountered each other way back then but it
wasn't until reconnecting a couple of years ago that the couple fell in
love. To celebrate this unique part of their history, the couple has
decided to incorporate a school theme into their wedding plans. I was
thrilled when Maricar asked me to design their wedding invitations! We
created a chalkboard-like invitation and Maricar had the awesome idea of
an attendance report rsvp card.
