this is so cute! i know that most of the invitation is editable, but my boy is turning 4 soon. would you be able to make that editable as well? i'd love to use this invitation for his party. thank you!

These ideas are so cute and simple! I'm not a DIY-er but I think I can make it happen with your help :) Just one question -- how did you get the number 2 look so neat on the cake? Were you just super careful when pouring the cookie crumbs, or you did something else? I'm afraid my number 2 will look crappy and ruin the cake...
I printed out a number two on paper, cut it out and then laid it gently on the top of the cake. Then, I poured the crumbs around it, lifted the paper number off and voila!
This construction themed birthday party is really a nice idea and loved the invitation card as well. I am looking for venues for my sister’s baby shower in a limited budget. Not getting anything in the budget and prices of everything have hit roof-top.
I just downloaded it and saved it as a word document and was able to edit everything except the number, so I just used a number 3 sticker too add to each invitation
